CHAPTER 1

Identify the evidence and its origin

Request the vehicle reference, report date and method behind any diagnostic result. Ask what a supplied percentage measures and whether the tool and procedure are appropriate for that vehicle. A cropped image without context can be difficult for a qualified reviewer to interpret.

Keep original records where available and distinguish seller statements from technical findings. Do not compare two percentages as equivalent merely because both are labelled health. Record any limits on access or testing so the buyer understands what was and was not examined.

CHAPTER 2

Review battery-related history

Ask for relevant service and repair information, including replacement work and concerns involving cooling or charging components. Compare records with the offered car and current observations. Gaps in available evidence should not be converted into a claim that no work has occurred.

Qualified personnel should assess accessible enclosure and underbody condition within the inspection scope. Damage, leakage or warning messages need appropriate evaluation. Do not ask unqualified personnel to open high-voltage equipment as a shortcut to resolving a commercial question.

CHAPTER 3

Interpret charging and driving observations

A successful charging session establishes an observed result with particular equipment and conditions. It does not by itself measure usable capacity or certify future performance. Record starting charge level, equipment, timing and any warnings or interruptions.

Similarly, displayed range is an estimate, not a capacity certificate. Keep route, temperature context and loading with driving observations. The extended-range guide explains why battery-only and combined travel figures should not be mixed. One short drive cannot establish all ownership outcomes.

CHAPTER 4

Set a clear response to findings

Agree whether incomplete evidence calls for clarification, further assessment or another candidate. Identify who performs any preparation and what record confirms completion. Retain original findings alongside subsequent work instead of replacing the initial report with a simpler sales description.

Keep one record for each vehicle in a batch. A representative inspection cannot establish the battery condition of unexamined units. The handover file should preserve the accepted evidence and limits so the receiving dealer can trace the basis of the decision.

CHAPTER 5

Example: a full dashboard estimate

A seller photographs a fully charged L6 showing a strong range estimate. Treat the image as a record of the display at that moment. Request the diagnostic context, history and inspection evidence needed for the actual purchase decision. If the seller proposes a measured capacity result, ask how it was obtained. The dealer can then distinguish an estimate from a technical assessment and explain why neither should be represented as an unconditional guarantee of range in the customer’s destination.

BRING THE REQUIREMENT INTO YOUR BRIEF

Discuss a suitable Li L6 offer.

Share destination, quantity, new-or-used preference and the requirements that determine acceptance. Include a year or version preference where it matters; actual availability and purchase terms need separate confirmation.
